CCI Credit Management (CCICM) Ltd is delighted to have gone one better – by winning an even more prestigious financial industry award than last year! For the second consecutive year, CCICM has won an International Finance Award (IFA) – nominated again by its industry peers globally.
9th July 2019
CCICM’s In-House Overseas and International Outsource team managers Olga Zadoroznaja and Clark Norman – with their staff – share the prestigious, global, financial services award.
We have just been voted the ‘Best Global Supplier of Recovery Services’ – following expert panel analysis by industry leaders and a poll among up to 108,000 finance magazine readers worldwide – after being the UK’s ‘Best International’ agency in 2018.
With our head office near Porthmadog in Gwynedd, we recover hundreds of millions of dollars for our UK and global clients. These include multi-nationals, lenders, governments and their departments, major health, social care and Higher Education bodies, public utilities, and many SMB/Es.
A CCICM director, Mr Carl Hackman, says our clients also benefit from the company being the founder and exclusive UK member of the International Credit Exchange (ICE) – the world’s leading, largest, and most regulatory-compliant Partnership of collection agencies in 130 countries.
Mr Hackman says of CCICM’s IFA from publisher Acquisition International: “It is fantastic, once again, to be recognised as the world’s leading provider of international collection services. Of course it was great to win last year, but going one better in 2019 shows we are consistently the best. That’s no mean feat in a fiercely-competitive global market, proving again that Wales is open for business!
“It’s worth remembering too, that while winning awards is very gratifying, it is only one indication of what we are about as a business – namely trying to achieve excellence in every area of our operations.
“Our success results from a collective team-effort and, unless all of us perform to our optimum, there would be no success to recognise. While I’m equally proud of all our teams, there is no doubt that the stars of this particular show are both our In-House Overseas and International Outsource teams,” Mr Hackman adds.

Clark Norman, who manages the In-House Overseas team, says: “It’s brilliant to work for a local company with the vision to see beyond our own borders. We are trusted by clients from all over the world to expertly handle their complex and high-value commercial disputes.
“My team work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment which can be very challenging and no two days are ever the same. It probably helps that we have an award-winning training programme, which gives us the confidence to know we are experts in our field when we are resolving complex, multi-million-dollar, commercial disputes.”
CCICM’s International Outsource team manager, Olga Zadoroznaja, says: “My staff manage our partnership of international agents. As we now have over 90 agent offices, employing about 3,000 people, in over 130 countries this is quite an undertaking. We work across multiple time-zones, jurisdictions, and languages.
“That is challenging enough, but six years ago we required all of our agents to deliver their services consistent with UK levels of regulatory compliance. An ambitious objective, but we succeeded. It has obviously paid dividends, as we now have a unique and award-winning service of which I too am very proud. Our next challenge is the business impacts of Brexit – but don’t get me started on that!” adds Olga.
Recently CCICM won two other coveted awards related to managing its staff, performance, and business.
We were awarded top-level ‘Leading’ status by Chwarae Teg – the foremost equality charity in Wales – for diversity best practice in 10 areas of operation, making it the only company holder in Gwynedd! Meanwhile, Investors In People assessors gave us an Advanced (Gold) re-accreditation until 2021, one of only 17% in the UK!
Mr Hackman adds: “We really strive to ensure this is a great place to work and succeed for anyone with a positive attitude, entrepreneurial aptitude, and willingness to learn. Current vacancies exist in our sales, legal, IT, and collections departments.”
We have also recently introduced:
An in-depth skills development strategy including an in-house Training Academy.
An innovative approach to recognition and reward where ‘Gamification’ awards points to individuals/teams for high performance; and
A set of Values, Vision, Mission, and Core Objectives, that unite the company.
