CCICM & ICE Business Continuity Plans for Coronavirus (Covid-19)
CCICM & ICE want to assure all of our clients, their customers, and suppliers that we have enhanced our already-robust Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) to mitigate and minimise any threats from the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic.
18 March 2020
CCICM’s BCP is just one of many ways we manage the reputation risks of Data, Financial, Conduct, International, and Services security to ourselves, our Partners, our clients, and their customers.
The company has a comprehensive Reputation Risk Management programme and a huge array of accreditations for world-leading data security and quality management systems.
Both we and our Overseas Agents are long-recognised within the debt recovery sector as operating by far the best policies and procedures for data protection – including the new General Data Protection Regulation – compliance, and governance.
Direct from just three of our Overseas Agents, here are further re-assurances:
“In European countries, the government are very focused on minimising the risk in connection with the COVID-19 virus. Therefore a number of restrictive laws and recommendations have been implemented, which will affect the economy. We support these measures which will affect our day-to-day work. We will continue to handle existing and upcoming cases.”
“Currently, the situation is stable. Several measures were taken to protect the safety of our citizens from the very beginning and those measures are continued in an aggressive manner. We have steps in place to make sure that we continue to provide services to our partners without a delay or interruptions. We will be sure to inform our partners of any changes immediately in accordance to events locally.”
“Since our company’s priority has always remained focused on safeguarding the well-being of our employees, we have taken several measures and implemented protocols to address any unforeseen crisis professionally and amicably on a country-wide basis. Our detailed policy and procedural framework to continue business as usual is already implemented in letter and spirit, even prior to this recent outbreak. We pray for the safety and health of our global partners.”
Naturally, there are some minor operational restrictions in place due to the pandemic. For example, for tracing via physical site visits, national field agents in affected regions or locked-down countries are prevented from going to customers’ homes.
CCICM clients whose organisation is in danger of suffering any interruption to their revenue-cycle as a consequence of Covid-19, can discuss with us how we might provide short or medium-term cover to assist.
