Frequently third party funding is the quickest route to export growth. There are many providers with different risk appetites in a variety of sectors. We will happily provide advice as to the best solution to suit your individual requirements.
Sales Document Review
We understand that many clients are heavily sales focused. Whilst this in no way detracts from the quality of product or service they may provide it can create issues down the line in the event of disputes, insolvency or general non payment. We offer two services to counter this issue. Firstly we offer an informal review of general sales terms. This will include looking at retention of title, payment terms, jurisdiction and dispute resolution processes, etc. This service is free to existing clients. Secondly we offer a much more detailed review of all order to invoice documents. This service is chargeable as it will be provided by law firms with experience specific to your industry.
Recovery
Risk mitigation covers most but not all situations. CCICM is still relied upon by many of worlds leading export credit insurers to provide worldwide debt recovery. For that reason we developed International Credit Exchange (ICE). This is the world’s largest and most regulatory compliant network of collection agencies.

Asset Valuations And Remarketing
All too frequently the solution to the problem may involve remarketing the exported goods, especially if they are incurring demurrage fees at port. We have a network of buyers and brokers worldwide and can arrange for the valuation, transport and resale of goods. Our aim in these situations is to mitigate losses to the maximum possible extent.
Debt sale is frequently the quickest route to recouping losses. There are many ways a purchase can be structured on extremely favourable terms for the vendor. We can either purchase the debt directly or act as a broker to find a purchaser and negotiate on your behalf if required.
Sometimes it is simply not possible to resolve issues on a fully amicable basis and a more formal process is required. Our aim is always to provide the best, lowest cost solution. These include:
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
Mediation
It is our belief that a mediated settlement agreement can provide for the most efficient and enforceable option provided both parties can agree. We will always explore this option first.
Litigation/Arbitration
In some cases there is no option but to take a fully adversarial approach. We have access to some of the best, specialist law firms worldwide. We will obtain the best value for money quotes including capped fees where possible.
This form of ADR is a combination of Mediation and Arbitration. Initially the arbiter will start as a mediator, if however, the Mediation is unsuccessful the arbiter will impose a final binding decision.
Expert Determination
Disputes can be time consuming to deal with and when there is money involved it can me very difficult to resolve. Parties can jointly instruct and Expert within the specific sector and specialist knowledge of the area which is in dispute – generally informal process however parties agree that the determination is binding.
Litigation Funding
Because litigation can be expensive some clients prefer that a third party funder takes on the risk. We enjoy excellent relationships with all the major funders and will be able to find the right provider for your specific issue.
